1-  Under the theme “From Risk to Resilience, Learning to Deal with Disruption”, our Forum will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark from 10-12 October 2021

The 12th European Forum for risk and insurance professionals will take place 10 -12 October 2021 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The programme committee has officially launched the call for speakers and is looking for risk managers with proven expertise across a variety of topics that are specifically tailored for and relevant to risk professionals.  The call is open until the end of February and speakers will be confirmed by the end of March. More information about the sessions and profiles searched may be found here. You are welcome to send your speakers proposals by contacting veronique.dehertogh@ferma.eu.

 

2- Membership renewal  

It’s time to renew your FERMA membership and update your data for this year’s Network Booklet before 26 February 2021. You will receive the official letter by email with the necessary documents to be completed in the attachment. Please do not forget to load your latest logo in high definition and to share upcoming events in the calendar file. If you have any questions, please contact laetitia.fung@ferma.eu.

 

3- What are the latest updates in our advocacy work? 

2021 has begun with the theme of sustainability. On 8 February, FERMA submitted its response to the European Commission’s public consultation on Sustainable Corporate Governance. We called on the Commission to consider the voice of risk managers in this important topic. You’ll hear more from us in coming months on it, including via a webinar.
In addition, we continue to work with our Sustainability Committee on a sustainability guide for risk managers. Watch this space for more!

 

4- Save the date end of March for an advanced rimap workshop & exam dates for 2021 are now available online

We have some exciting news for rimap!  First, the new exam dates are now online, you can start preparing and submit your applications for 2021.  The learning path has been simplified and alumni will just have to fill in an easy template to validate the CPD points.  All information can be found on the dedicated rimap page of our website under examination and recertification.  Alumni with more than 10 years’ experience in the field and the Presidents of FERMA member associations will soon have the opportunity to participate in an advanced rimap workshop. Seats will be limited to a maximum of 20 participants, stay tuned for more information and already mark your calendar for the end of March!

6- Virtual roundtables

Our next virtual roundtable is scheduled on Tuesday 23 February from 16:00-17:00 CET. You are welcome to suggest topics, speakers and presentations you wish to share with the other national associations by sending an email laetitia.fung@ferma.eu before 16 February. The objective of our virtual roundtables is to share advice, thoughts, challenges and solutions amongst our network of risk management associations.
